Day1: Ouarzazate – Valley of roses – Todgha gorges
Morning departure from Ouarzazate towards Dades gorges via the palmary of Skoura and the old Kasbahs that are numerous on this way which is actually called the road of thousand kasbahs. We will attend the first city called Kelaa Mgouna or city of roses, from here we will take a track that links the Dades gorges and Kelaa via the Boutaghrar and rose valley, on this off-road we will enjoy the colourful landscapes and the Berber villages with the decorated kasbahs along the valley, we will also be able to meet the nomads living in caves in the foothills old Mgoun mountains. Lunch break in the heart of Dades gorges. In the afternoon, we continue our trip to get to Boumalen via the Dades valley to join the main road and continue to Tineghir, then spend the night in Todgha gorges in a hotel.
Day 2: Todgha gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga dunes
Breakfast in the hotel, then free time to enjoy a trek along the beautiful valley and canyons of Todgha gorges before we continue with our 4×4 vehicle to the desert, closed to the Algerian borders. We will head to Errachidia where to access to the beautiful Ziz valley and the palm grove of Tafilalt, lunch in Erfoud and then we leave to the dunes of Erg Chebbi where we meet our camels team and ride them at the sunset time to enjoy the best moments of the desert. Dinner and over night in the bivouac under the nomadic tents at the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Day 3: Merzouga – Tazrine – Tamnougalt – Agdez – Ouarzazate
Sunrise in the early morning over the dunes then breakfast in the bivouac. After that, you will ride the camels back to meet your driver and travel to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley and Tazarine, we will first visit Rissani (A small town of 7000 inhabitants with it’s typical market, Rissani is the birth place of Alouite dynasty that rules Morocco now). You will have a lunch break in the typical Kasbah in Nkob village after we have crossed the Bougafer massive. In the afternoon, we continue to Tamnougalt, located in the midlle of Draa valley just before we reach Agdez village the we arrive to Ouarzazate.
