Caravan road tour 4 days / 3 nights

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges – Todgha Gorges
Morning departure from Ouarzazate with our 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser towards Dades gorges via the palmary of Skoura and the old Kasbahs that are numerous on this way which is actually called the road of thousand kasbahs. We will attend the first city called Kelaa Mgouna or city of roses, from here we will take a track that links the Dades gorges and Kelaa via the Boutaghrar and rose valley, on this off-road we will enjoy the colourful landscapes and the Berber villages with the decorated kasbahs along the valley, we will also be able to meet the nomads living in caves in the foothills old Mgoun mountains. Lunch break in the heart of Dades gorges. In the afternoon, we continue our trip to get to Boumalen via the Dades valley to join the main road and continue to Tineghir, then spend the night in Todgha gorges in a hotel.

Day 2: Todgha gorges – Tinghir – Tizi n’Tferkhine – Tansikht – Zagora
After breakfast, departure from Todgha gorges, we first cross the Tizi n’Tferkhine at the Saghro Mountains and then we attend the road that leads to Draa valley in Tansikht. Lunch break in a typical restaurant in of the old Kasbahs of Draa valley. Afterwards, we haed south to Zagora where we spend the night in the hotel.

Day 3: Zagora – Mhamid – Chegaga Dunes
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Zagora towards the largest Sahara dunes of Morocco. We first visit the Mhamid village known as the crossroad the caravans in the ancient time and stop for lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon, we leave to Chegaga dunes, located at 60km from Mhamid village in hard track that we cross easily thanks to our 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles, Sunset over dunes and possibility to ride a camel to make a tour of the Chegaga dunes around. Dinner and overnight in the desert camp of Chegaga.

Day 4: Chegaga Dunes – Iriki Lake – Foumzguid – Tazenakht – Ouarzazate
Early morning to see the sunrise after you climb the big dunes of Erg Laabidlya followed by breakfast in the bivouac. The adventure continues on the hard off-roads via the lake of Iriki with different landscapes (Mountains and Hamadas of the desert) to attend Foumzguid for around 90km. Lunch break in the Berber city of Tazenakht and short visit of carpet cooperative in the area. In the afternoon, we cross the Anti Atlas to get to Ouarzazate.
