2Days-1Night Fom Marrakech

Pick up at 8 A.M: in the morning after breakfast, the journey begins in the direction to the southern Morocco. Through agricultural fields and trees such as Olives and Cactus. When we get the slopes of high Atlas Mountains range, we notice that the muddy villages are scattered in the form of houses together, there terraces are growing with cereals, barley and wheat. Otherwise you can see a herd of sheep and goats grazing in cork forest. In order to take advantage of the opportunity we can stop at some breathtaking scenes to breathe fresh air and take pictures. It doesn’t stop at the limit but you will enjoy attractive views when we reach the highest peak (Tizi Ntichka pass 2260 m high). While we are at the southern side of the high Atlas mountains, the features shape are different even the colors are clear, it’s dry due to desert climate effects. On our way to Ait Ben Haddou area, we will drive through a secondary road via Ounila Valley exploring the beauty of landscape.

The Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou is one of the most beautiful and old Ksar in the south of Morocco, because it’s full of inscriptions and decorations on the walls and alleys.

It was a check point at once where caravans trade caravans coming from the south heading Marrakech, caring stuff and goods (sugar, feather, salt, barley…). Ait Ben Haddou is a favorite destination for an international film makers, Ridly Scott( Gladiator)….

The location is classified as a human heritage by UNISCO. After visiting the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, driving to Ouarzazate,the town was built in 1926 and it was a military garrison, so the town grouth and developed by the movies as the city is considered the Hollywood of North Africa, and is growing as well by the tourism a gate way to desert, recently is holding a big solar project in the word.

From Ouarzazate we will drive through the Anti Atlas mountain, we will pass many Berbers villages, then we will drive through Draa valley, which is the largest oases in Morocco. The peasants of this valley rely on palms to live. Zagoura is a town and it’s the last stage of the journey, riding camels to the bivouac. Spending a night under the nomad tent. The night is a fantastic moment to see sky and stars.

2nd Day/ Zagoura- Marrakech

After the sunrise, and breakfast riding back to Zagoura, to meet with the guide/drive and driving back to Marrakech, otherwise we will drive at the other side of valley until Agdez towen ,then ouarzazate.
